• Auto mode loads /public/mari via a manifest file.
• Live picker lets you choose a folder from your computer.

AUTO MODE SETUP
- Put photos inside public/mari.
- Create public/mari/manifest.json with an array called items.
- Restart the dev server.
A script is included in tools/ to generate the manifest for you.
